I got my first guitar on 2/28/2011. I got the Fender Squier SA-100 Acoustic Guitar Complete Pack. I have never played guitar before. When I first got my Guitar, I was looking on the internet for lessons on tabs but then I just decided I might as well work through the book that came with my package. This book is called "The Fender Guitar Method". In this blog I am going to post entries after every song I complete. Hopefully this will be entertaining for everyone.

The Fender Guitar Method - Rockin Robin - Lesson 21
So now we are at Rockin Robin. I was pretty exicited to learn to play this one since I somewhat know the song from hearing it when I was a kid. So I started playing it and it took a little time to get used to the notes and adding in the third string (even though the third string was not getting used that much). I think the difficulty was using my middle finger when all of the previous lessons only used my pointer finger and my ring finger.
So here are the notes and the video.
I didn't think that my song was all that bad until I did some youtube video searching for someone else playing Rockin Robin on an Acoustic Guitar. Check out how awesome this dude sounds.

You can buy a book just search up the Fender Guitar Method Book and you have to buy it and the sheets in there.
